From the cruise terminal we will take the bus (or mini van) to Bad Doberan.
There we will see the impressive Minster which was built as a Cistercian Abbey church in the 13th century. We have time to take a look at the medieval furnishings inside and the park with the smaller buildings and herbal garden outside.
We jump to the 20est century and onto the steam train Molli which puffs right through Bad Doberan. It is a narrow gauge train and the waggons look just like they did in the old days when this train brought the tourists to the first German seaside resort Heiligendamm.
That's where we get off and go to the beach to relax, swim or build a sand castle. Heiligendamm has been known worldwide when the G8 summit took place there in 2007. You might remember that picture with all the presidents in a big beach chair.
After this exciting tour we will go back to Warnemunde by train and bus or with the mini van.
This tour takes about 7.5 hours. (With mini van it will take about 6 hours.)
